Document checklist
The usual documents for a Turkey application from Pakistan. Your exact list depends on your visa category and circumstances, the team confirms it with you.
- Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the trip
Your passport must be valid for the period the destination requires and have blank pages for the visa. Renew it first if it is close to expiry or damaged.
- Completed application form
The application form must be completed carefully and consistently with every other document in your file. Mistakes here are a common cause of delay.
- Recent photographs to the specification
Photographs must meet the destination’s exact size and background rules. Many photo studios in Lahore know the common visa formats.
- Bank statements for the last 6 months
Recent bank statements show that you can pay for the trip and that your finances are stable. Statements are usually stamped by the bank and should match the income you declare.
- Employment letter or business documents
A letter from your employer, business registration or student enrolment shows what you do in Pakistan and that you have a reason to return after your trip.
- Hotel bookings and flight reservation
A flight reservation or travel plan shows your intended dates. Many embassies prefer a reservation rather than a paid ticket until the visa is decided.
- Travel insurance
Travel medical insurance covers emergency treatment abroad. Some destinations set a minimum level of cover, so check the policy wording before you buy.
- NADRA Family Registration Certificate for family groups
The NADRA Family Registration Certificate shows how family members travelling together are related. It is often requested for spouses, children and family visits.
Assistance fee and processing
Assistance fee: PKR 6,000 per traveller. Government visa fees, appointment and service-centre charges are separate.
Turkish visas are decided by the Turkish authorities; eligibility for e-visa depends on current rules for Pakistani passport holders.
Common reasons files are delayed
General guidance, not legal advice.
Missing or unclear documents
A missing page, an unstamped bank statement or a blurred copy can stop a file until it is corrected. Check every item on the checklist before you submit.
Information that does not match
Names, dates and figures should be the same in your form, passport, bank statements and letters. Small differences can lead to extra questions.
Funds that are hard to explain
Large deposits shortly before applying, without an explanation, often raise questions. Keep records that show where money came from.
Applying too late
Appointment waiting times and processing can take longer in peak seasons such as summer holidays and before Ramadan. Apply well before your travel date.
Purpose of travel not clear
If the file does not show why you are travelling and why you will return, officers may ask for more. A clear itinerary and supporting letters help.
