The Cook Driver Welfare Association places a personal driver in Lahore with households and businesses on a monthly basis, either for a fixed 8-hour day or as a 24-hour live-in driver. 8 hours or 24 hours?
The two options suit different routines, and the monthly salary for each is shown on this page.
- 8 hours: a driver who works a fixed day, such as office drop-off and pick-up, school runs, errands and shopping within agreed hours. Suits families and businesses with a predictable schedule.
- 24 hours (live-in): a driver who lives in and is available when the family needs them, including early mornings and late evenings, with rest agreed in advance. Suits households with elderly parents, irregular hours or frequent late travel.

Who hires a personal driver
- Families with school runs who want the same safe driver every morning and afternoon.
- Working parents whose office hours do not fit around the children’s timetable.
- Elderly parents who need someone to take them to the doctor, the bank or family visits.
- Businesses that need a driver for a manager or for errands across the city.
Driving in Lahore
Lahore’s traffic changes completely through the day. A drive along the Canal or Ferozepur Road can take twice as long at rush hour as it does mid-morning. A driver who knows the city plans routes around school and office times and knows where to wait and park. Tell the team your main routes and duties in the request, so they can share drivers who know those parts of the city.
Automatic or manual
Many drivers are comfortable with only one kind of car. The request form asks whether your car is automatic or manual, so the team only shares drivers who drive that kind of car.
What the car owner provides
The driver drives your car. The car owner remains responsible for:
- fuel, tolls and parking;
- maintenance, repairs and the car’s registration and insurance;
- for a live-in driver, a place to stay and meals, as agreed before the start.
Working hours, duties and any live-in arrangement are agreed with the association before the start date.
The salary, and the association’s fee
The figure shown for each option is the monthly salary paid by you to the driver, agreed before the start. It is not the association’s price. The association explains its own placement fee on WhatsApp before anything is agreed.
How to request a driver
- Choose 8 hours or 24 hours and answer the short questions in the request panel.
- Enter your area of Lahore and when you need a driver.
- Press Send request on WhatsApp. Your request is saved with a reference number and opens in WhatsApp, ready to send.
- The association replies on WhatsApp, explains its fee and shares suitable drivers.
- You meet the candidates the way the team arranges, choose, and agree the salary, hours and start date.
Nothing is paid on the website, and nothing is agreed until you decide.
