Visa assistance

Malaysia eVISA requirements for Pakistani passport holders

Help preparing Malaysia eVISA applications for tourism and family visits.

Checklist last reviewed 22 October 2026

The embassy or issuing authority alone decides every visa application. The Cook Driver Welfare Association helps you prepare your file; it does not and cannot guarantee approval.

Visa categories we assist with

  • Tourism (eVISA)
  • Family visit

Document checklist

The usual documents for a Malaysia application from Pakistan. Your exact list depends on your visa category and circumstances, the team confirms it with you.

  1. Passport valid for at least 6 months

Your passport must be valid for the period the destination requires and have blank pages for the visa. Renew it first if it is close to expiry or damaged.

  2. Recent passport-size photograph on a white background

Your passport must be valid for the period the destination requires and have blank pages for the visa. Renew it first if it is close to expiry or damaged.

  3. Confirmed return flight booking

A flight reservation or travel plan shows your intended dates. Many embassies prefer a reservation rather than a paid ticket until the visa is decided.

  4. Hotel booking or host’s details

If you are visiting family or friends, an invitation letter and copies of your host’s documents explain the purpose of your visit and where you will stay.

  5. Bank statement (where asked)

Recent bank statements show that you can pay for the trip and that your finances are stable. Statements are usually stamped by the bank and should match the income you declare.

Assistance fee and processing

Assistance fee: PKR 4,500 per traveller. Government visa fees, appointment and service-centre charges are separate.

Malaysian eVISAs are decided by the Malaysian authorities. Processing usually takes a few working days but can be longer.

Common reasons files are delayed

General guidance, not legal advice.

Missing or unclear documents

A missing page, an unstamped bank statement or a blurred copy can stop a file until it is corrected. Check every item on the checklist before you submit.

Information that does not match

Names, dates and figures should be the same in your form, passport, bank statements and letters. Small differences can lead to extra questions.

Funds that are hard to explain

Large deposits shortly before applying, without an explanation, often raise questions. Keep records that show where money came from.

Applying too late

Appointment waiting times and processing can take longer in peak seasons such as summer holidays and before Ramadan. Apply well before your travel date.

Purpose of travel not clear

If the file does not show why you are travelling and why you will return, officers may ask for more. A clear itinerary and supporting letters help.
