What a chowkidar does
- Watching the gate and the premises.
- Checking visitors and deliveries as you instruct.
- Reporting anything unusual to the household or the office.

What to tell the team
The request form asks whether the guard is for a home or an office and how many guards you need. The household or office provides a place for the guard to rest; duties are agreed with the association before the start.
The salary, and the association’s fee
The figure shown on this page is the monthly salary paid by the household to the worker, agreed before the start. It is not the association’s price: the association explains its own placement fee on WhatsApp before anything is agreed.
